Forest School runs every Wednesday morning during term time. Bookings are on a termly basis and your place will automatically roll over to the following term unless you no longer wish to continue. Please do let us know as soon as possible if you are not continuing. 

There will be a different ranger-led activity to take part in each week if you wish to plus different areas to explore at your own pace including the mud kitchen, arts and crafts area, story area, sensory and heuristic play, small world play, swing and hammocks. 

We will have a fire where your child will have the opportunity to toast a snack over the fire. Usually our snacks are chocolate bread or marshmallows however we do also have different other snacks such as pancakes, hot cross buns and waffles throughout the year. Dietary requirements are always met, please let us know if your child has any specific dietary requirements. 

Please dress yourself and your child appropriately for the weather on the day and the outdoor forest environment. We recommend long sleeve tops and trousers to prevent scratches, stings and bites. Please bring bug spray and sun cream in the warmer months. 

Please meet at the car park at 11am prompt. To access the car park, please drive up the main drive, continue as far as you can go and this will lead you to the car park. Do not turn off at any point on the drive, continue all the way to the top and the rangers will meet you at the car park. 

All events are non-refundable and non-transferable and our sessions go ahead in all weathers except high winds. Refunds will only be given if events are cancelled by Forest Explorers. Please do not ask for a refund or to transfer your ticket to another event.
Sessions will be cancelled if we do not fulfil our minimum numbers; if this is the case refunds will be issued to those booked on.
