BLACK ORCHID are launching their new single "Parasites" via Hull-based label Forever Underdogs. Produced and mixed by Aaron Ryan Joshua, and mastered by Brad Boatright (Code Orange, Drain, Malevolence) the debut single is the epitome of the band's beatdown hardcore sound.

"Parasites, for me, was just one of them songs that just clicked from minute one of the writing process. I remember Joe coming to us in practice with a nasty beatdown riff and we got to work straight away. Some of the lyrics were actually written two years prior by our guitarist Joe, and we proceeded to build off that. In a nutshell, the song is about people who act one way around you until you find out what they're really like, and they can't handle it when you challenge them on it"

To celebrate, the official launch night will be held at Hull's legendary Adelphi Club, with support from Murder Blossom, Wendigo and Urgent Hate.
