Autumn Gathering For Good Leaders
Thu 24 Oct 2024 18:00 - Fri 25 Oct 2024 22:00
Castel Gandolfo Rome
Description
Join the 'For Good Leaders' Cooperative's Autumn Gathering in Rome, the Pope's Gardens & Residence in Castel Gandolfo and Borgo Laudato Sí (projected to become an 'island of regeneration' following Pope Francis' own wish) from late Thursday, October 24th, Friday October 25th and the option of the 26th in Rome.
1,5 days of inspiration, connection, reflection and action on theme of 'Business at Crossroads' await you. The location is at once symbolic, historic and stunning, honouring Pope Francis' Encyclical 'Laudato Sí' asserting our responsibility of 'taking care of our common home, the planet'. Sister Alessandra Smerilli, the Secretary of the Vatican Dicastery of Integral Human Development and a PhD in Economics, Carlo Giardinetti and Lorna Gold, will inspire us with a snapshot of the Dicastery's work and the significance of the Pope's words for leaders. Monica Lucarelli, Head of Economic Development in the Municipality of Rome, will share a plan to induce 140,000 enterprises to adopt the Benefit Corporation legislation by 2030.
PROGRAM
Hans Stegeman, Chief Economist at Triodos Bank will share his perspectives on the state of the 'good' economy. Alfredo Enrione, well-known Chilean economist, will comment. Aunt Ivy, Cultural Ambassador from New Zealand and Niki Trott, Conscious Business Speaker will inspire us with their vision of a regenerative world, including Satish Kumar (on video). Otti Vogt and Stefano Zamagni, will share their knowhow on the regenerative economy and capitalism, moderated by Leslie Johnston, Laudes Foundation. Antje Biber, FERI, and Luca Zerbini will add the finance & investment perspective, moderated by Michael White, Planet Ocean Fund.
Our own 'faculty' of Femke van Loon, Daniel Truran, Bénédicte Peillon-Russo, Pedro Tarak, Sarah Abell Evans, Felix Keser, Helle Frank Liautaud, Marc Roodhuyzen de Vries, Annemieke Roobeek, Tom Cummings, Veronica Calvi Musini and others will curate the program. 100 individually selected leaders have confirmed already.
