Forming Connections
Neuroscience Based Education for All
Events list
Forming Connections exists to help people and organisations move beyond surviving and into thriving. We believe that optimal performance, whether in a classroom, a boardroom, or at home, is not a happy accident, but the result of intentionally designed environments where safety, connection, and cognitive growth are embedded by design.
At the heart of our work is a powerful biological truth: a brain that feels safe is a brain that is ready to expand. While we focus deeply on the nervous system's need for security, safety is simply the foundation. From that stable base, we use the principles of neuroplasticity to help individuals and teams rewire their potential, enhancing how we learn, how we remember, and how we innovate.
When we understand how the brain actually works, we stop seeing stress, overwhelm, and disengagement as personal shortcomings. Instead, we see them as signals. By shifting from blame-based approaches to neuroscience-backed strategies, we don't just reduce "shutdown", we unlock the ability to think clearly, collaborate deeply, and work sustainably.
Our work draws on over 20 years of expertise across education, inclusion, and wellbeing. This includes 15 years as a SEND teacher, five years as an Advisory Teacher for Inclusion, and qualifications in Dru Yoga and mindfulness. This professional background is enriched by my lived experience as an AuDHD professional, bringing a unique, nuanced lens to neurodiversity and inclusive design.
We don’t just help you find safety; we help you find your spark.
