My *award winning* Pregnancy Yoga classes (voted best Pregnancy Class in York in the 2023 Little Viking Awards) are super friendly and welcoming to all. They allow you to develop strength, flexibility and breath awareness whilst learning positions and movements for labour that can help you birthing your baby. We use movement to ease pregnancy niggles like sore backs, tight shoulders, puffy feet and aches around the pelvis. These classes also give you some time to nurture yourself and connect with your baby at this very special time. Also a great way to meet and connect with other local mums-to-be in an supportive and friendly environment. NO previous yoga experience required. . 

We will work through calming and focusing breathing techniques, adapted yoga postures for the pregnant body, pelvic floor exercises, stamina building and gorgeous deep relaxations that encourage you to tune into your own body and your baby too, and help you to sleep. We also dedicate some time at the start of the class to chat with the group of mums, so you'll build an invaluable support network of local mothers for when your baby arrives. This is SO important and so valuable, I cannot begin to tell you. #findyourtribe

During pregnancy yoga can help to support mothers-to-be both emotionally and physically. These classes give expectant mothers the faith, awareness and practical tools to respond creatively and positively to the challenges of pregnancy, birthing and mothering in the modern world. 

Open to women from your 12 week scan in pregnancy until the birth of your baby. Start at any time in your pregnancy. Absolutely NO previous yoga experience required (and many women have never been to a yoga class before). Everyone welcome - any age, body shape, fitness level.

Brilliant value, you can attend an in-person class in the studio PLUS the Tuesday evening monthly livestreamed 'Breathe & Relax' 40 minute class too (or have access to the recording of the Tuesday class).   AND all the recorded class-library extra's below too. 

Cost: £10 per week, for all of this, booked by the term (or part term, you are very welcome to start at ANY point in the term)


Pregnancy Classes run on a Monday and Thursday evening:

~ Mondays // Pregnancy Yoga // 7pm to 8.15pm // The Hive Dance Studio, Millfield Lane, Poppleton, York YO26 6PA  (free carpark onsite)

~ Thursdays // Pregnancy Yoga // 6pm to 7.15pm // Acomb Pilates Studio. 53A Front Street. York YO24 3BR (free on-street parking or use free car park 2 minutes walk away)

~ a FREE monthly specialist pregnancy breathwork and relaxation class (takes place via Zoom and is also recorded to use at a time of your choice)

~ an online library of pregnancy relaxations and breathing practices as MP3's for use between classes too

TERM DATES:

MONDAY classes at 7pm:  7th, 14th, 28th April. 12th, 19th May 2025 (no classes on Bank Holidays as venue is closed  - 21st April, 5th or 26th May)  

 THURSDAY classes at 6pm:  10th, 17th, 24th April. 1st, 15th, 22nd May 2025 (no class on 8th May) 


You can start ANYTIME within the term (spaces permitting).

You can also swap between the classes/days if you need to. Just let me know in advance if you can

(If you reach 38 weeks during the  term then you only pay up to & including that week - as we don't know when baby will arrive. Email me to arrange to pay for this option)
