This week we have a Forró Family premier for DJ Xuxa who has been in love with forró, the music and dance for over 20 years. Originally from Campinas in São Paulo state, he has attended many forró festivals and recently started to DJ in the Regents Park Outdoor events.

Xuxa brings authenticity and enthusiasm both on the decks and on the dance floor.

Learn to dance with us!

Forró is a beautiful partner dance where connection with your partner is the key to enjoyment.

Each Saturday we organise light hearted fun lessons where you can learn the basic steps, feel the rhythm and learn to flow around the dance floor. They are also a great way of making new friends so no need to bring a partner.

Timetable:

7pm to 8pm : Forró beginners and improvers dance classes
Classes cost £10 each or cheaper with Class Cards or combined with a party ticket

8pm to midnight : Forró Dance Party
Party tickets cost £14 on the door, £12 in advance
