Forró Family with Professor Felipe Abreu/DJ Baiano

Felipe Abreu is back again after a wonderful evening we shared with him in January. 

Felipe is an awesome dancer and dance teacher with 20 years of experience in forró, and has an excellent reputation for his smooth and graceful movements. He is also a vinyl record collector and recently started working as a DJ under the name DJ Baiano. He gave an incredible performance at the Chamego Festival last year and in January this year at Forró Famliy. Felipe will be teaching a Master Class from 7pm to 8pm which will be included as the standard price for classes, i.e. £12 for a single class!!! Don't miss this opportunity to add some more repertoire to your dance!

Learn to dance with us!

Forró is a beautiful partner dance where connection with your partner is the key to enjoyment.

Each Saturday we organise light hearted fun lessons where you can learn the basic steps, feel the rhythm and learn to flow around the dance floor. They are also a great way of making new friends so no need to bring a partner.

Timetable:

7pm to 8pm : Forró beginners and improvers dance classes
Classes cost £12 each or cheaper with Class Cards or combined with a party ticket

8pm to midnight : Forró Dance Party
