Forró Family with DJ Ketellin

DJ Ketellin is a Brazilian DJ from Southern Brazil, passionate about Brazilian and Latin music since childhood. Through forró, she discovered not only a rhythm, but a powerful connection to the history, resistance and cultural richness of Black Northeastern Brazil.

Through her sets, she shares the sounds, stories and roots of Northern and Northeastern Brazil, celebrating the strength of African and Indigenous heritage through music. Now based in England, she continues to bring the energy, diversity and soul of Brazilian culture to dance floors and communities abroad.

Her sets blend rhythm, ancestry and connection, creating vibrant experiences that honour tradition while bringing people together.

Expect high energy and a dance floor on fire.

Forró is a beautiful partner dance where connection with your partner is the key to enjoyment.

Each Saturday we organise light hearted fun lessons where you can learn the basic steps, feel the rhythm and learn to flow around the dance floor. They are also a great way of making new friends so no need to bring a partner.

Timetable:

7pm to 8pm : Forró beginners and improvers dance classes
Classes cost £12 each or cheaper with Class Cards or combined with a party ticket

8pm to midnight : Forró Dance Party
Party tickets cost £15 on the door,  or from £10 in advance
