Teacher Training 2-Day Course : Level 1
We are very excited to announce an expanded version of our level 1 introduction to teaching forró, reaching out to anyone interested in gaining the skills and techniques we have developed over 18 years of teaching at Forró Family and beyond!
Our previous 3 courses have all sold out, so please do book asap if you want to reserve your spot.

The course is ideal for forró students wanting to work towards joining our teaching team at Forró Family in London and/or anyone interested to teach forró in their own way too. The course includes theory, discussion and practice time, as well as some nice dancing breaks, snacks and refreshments!

This year, we have extended the training to include experiencing our class at Forró Family on the Saturday evening, plus further practice on Sunday, where students will have time to explore teaching various aspects of a class to others.

The 2-day course will cover everything you need to know and practice, in order to teach our beginners classes at Forró Family!

Saturday February 6th 12pm - 5pm
Experience our teaching 7-8pm @Forró Family and join us for the party!
Sunday February 7th 12pm - 4pm plus optional hanging out time 4-5pm

Please note: This course is a requirement for all our level 1 teachers, though completing the course does not guarantee teaching hours as part of Forró Family.

Prerequisites:
- 2+ years experience dancing forró (We will ask for confirmation of this on ticket purchase)
- Some experience both leading AND following in the dance

The cost of the 2-day course including refreshments, and Forró Family on Saturday evening is £149
The course will mostly be held in English, though we can share some aspects in Portuguese, if needed

If for any reason we need to reschedule the training up until 2 weeks of the start date, we'll offer a full refund, should the new date not be suitable.
