Festival Programme

Friday, 11 September

🎉 Welcome to Istanbul!

For those arriving early, we'll be organising an optional Istanbul City Tour, including a shared lunch, to discover some of the city's most iconic places together before the festival begins.

In the evening, we'll kick off the weekend with our Opening Party at Roxy, featuring live music, DJs, and plenty of dancing.

Saturday & Sunday, 12–13 September

Forró a la Turca is organised by Forró Istanbul and celebrates more than 10 years of forró culture in Istanbul. The 2026 edition is especially meaningful as it marks the return of the festival after our unforgettable 2019 edition.

Join dancers, musicians, and forró lovers from around the world for a weekend full of music, dancing, friendship, and Brazilian culture in one of the world's most vibrant cities.
