Am 31 Mai 2025  veranstalten wir unsere 2te Xique Xique Party, um unsere großartige Community und Nachbarn Communities zu zelebrieren. 

Wie war es im 2024? 
Neugierig, was euch bei der Xique Xique Party am 31.05. erwartet?

- Wir werden 2 Workshops zum Auswahl haben mit unterschiedlichen Fokus.
- Die Party startet etwas früher, bereits um 20h
- Eine neue Band! Fabiano Santana ist dieses mal am Start

Workshops
Fábio Reis wird die Workshops für All Levels unten am Saal durchführen. Fábio legt den Fokus darauf, den Tanz in seiner Gesamtheit zu betrachten. Besonderer Wert wird auf Musikalität, Körperhaltung, die Beherrschung der Grundlagen und ein angenehmes Tanzerlebnis gelegt. Weniger Augenmerk wird auf komplexere Schrittfolgen gerichtet. Die Kurse sind hier für alle Niveaus geeignet, egal wie viele Jahre man schon Forró tanzt. 

Marcelo und Jessica haben mehrere Jahre Erfahrung mit der Durchführung vom Workshops und werden im obere Etage Workshops von unterschiedliche Schritte/Moves für euch durchführen. Der Fokus liegt dran mehr an bestimmte neue Schritten zu lernen oder Variationen dessen und wie man in eine Musik einsetzen kann. Diese Workshops sind eher für Intermediate Niveau geeignet. 

Die Party wird sowohl einen DJ- als auch einen Live-Musik-Anteil haben. Die DJs aus unserer eigene Community starten die Party. Für die Live-Band haben wir den herausragende Musiker Fabiano Santana und seine Band engagiert. Anschließend wird DJ Fábio die Bühne bis zum Ende des Abends übernehmen.

Die Location werden wir beibehalten uns es ist weiterhin einen Highlight. Der Saal ist 160 m² groß, sehr schön und wurde mit viel Liebe für euch ausgewählt. In der Cafeteria Raum ist auch ausreichend platz um was zum trinken, sich bisschen auszuruhen und plaudern.

Weitere wichtige Informationen zur Location
- Getränke können nach dem Workshops (18h) vor Ort gekauft werden. Während der Workshops ist es in Ordnung, euer eigenes Wasser oder andere Getränke zu trinken. Bitte kauft während der Party die Getränke an der Bar.
- Im Tanzraum sind keine Straßenschuhe erlaubt. Bringt daher bitte Tanzschuhe oder Socken mit (separate/saubere Turnschuhe sind auch in Ordnung). Bitte tragt keine hohen Schuhe.
- Wir werden während des Workshops und der Party ab und zu Fotos/Videos machen, um diese ggf. auf WhatsApp/Instagram/Facebook zu posten. Wenn ihr damit nicht einverstanden seid, wendet euch bitte unbedingt vor Kursbeginn an einen der Forró-Nürnberg-Admins (mehr Infos im letzten Link unten).
- Die Location ist vom Nürnberg Hbf aus gut erreichbar. Zu Fuß sind es nur 15min (Südausgang) und mit dem OPNV 7 Minuten (Nordausgang Richtung Tram 8). Parkplätze stehen möglicherweise im Wohngebiet zur Verfügung.

What`s new in 2025:
- We’ll have two workshops to choose from, each with a different focus.
- The party will start earlier this time, at 8 PM.
- A new band! This year, Fabiano Santana will be performing live.

Workshops
Fábio Reis will conduct the all-level workshops in the main hall. His approach emphasizes a holistic understanding of the dance, focusing on musicality, posture, mastery of the basics, and creating an enjoyable dance experience. Less emphasis will be placed on complex step patterns. These workshops are suitable for all levels, regardless of how many years you’ve been dancing Forró.

Marcelo and Jessica, with years of workshop experience, will lead workshops on different steps/moves upstairs. Their focus is on teaching specific new steps, variations, and how to incorporate them into the music. These workshops are more suitable for intermediate-level dancers.

Party Details
The party will feature both a DJ set and live music. DJs from our own community will kick things off. For the live music, we’ve booked the exceptional musician Fabiano Santana and his band. After their performance, DJ Fábio will take over until the end of the night.

The Venue
We’re keeping the same location, as it continues to be a highlight. The hall is 160 m², beautifully arranged, and lovingly chosen for you. The cafeteria area offers plenty of space to grab a drink, relax a bit, and chat.

Additional Important Information about the Location
- Drinks: After the workshops (from 6 PM), drinks can be purchased on-site. During the workshops, it’s fine to bring your own water or other beverages. However, please buy your drinks at the bar during the party.
- Street shoes are not allowed in the dance room. Please bring dance shoes or socks (separate/clean sneakers are also fine). Please avoid wearing high heels.
- We will occasionally take pictures/videos during the workshop/party to potentially post on WhatsApp/Instagram/Facebook. If you do not agree to this, please make sure to inform one of the Forró Nuremberg admins before the course starts (more information on the last link below).
- The location is easily accessible from Nuremberg Central Station. It’s just a 15-minute walk (south exit) or a 7-minute ride with public transportation (north exit towards Tram 8). Parking may be available in the residential area.

Forró Code of Conduct
