Workshops Carol & Wesley - Forrozim Day

Carol and Wesley are dance partners and instructors with over 8 years of experience teaching workshops in Brazil and Europe. As the creators of the YouTube channel Lá Vai Forró, they have developed a unique teaching method that combines technique, connection, and musicality. Through dynamic and practical classes, they have helped thousands of students build confidence, master the rhythm, and improve their dancing naturally.

Our next cultural event will follow the same format, with the following theme:

Schedule

☕ 2:00 PM – Coffee & History

💃 Forró Workshops:

• 2:45 – 3:45 PM – Workshop 1: Intermediate/Advanced
• 4:00 – 5:00 PM – Workshop 2: Intermediate/Advanced
• 5:15 – 6:15 PM – Workshop 3: Open Level

🍿 6:30 – 7:00 PM – Popcorn & Movie Session

🕺 7:30 – 10:00 PM – Forró Social Dance

Open Level Requirements:

• Basic Forró fundamentals
• Pião (spinning/rolling)

Intermediate/Advanced Prerequisites:

• Minimum of 1 year of Forró dance experience
• Experience with Forró Universitário and Roots styles
• Familiarity with patterns such as:
  • Giro Paulista
  • Trava (locks)
  • Pião Invertido (reverse spin)
  • Sacadas
