Free community pizza and film screening event
Let's face it our priorities as a community and as a society has changed significantly since the global pandemic. The way we live shifted, with many of us relying heavily on our community to provide everything we needed to stay safe and healthy. So, what then if your community couldn't provide what you needed? For many people, this was the case with some communities unable to access basic health services or greenspace.
We need to invest in the places we call home. Our communities should be vibrant, sustainable, and connected places to live, work, and play in. Jules Ryan from Forth Environment Link is working to co-deliver My Bo'ness; a community climate action plan utilizing the 20-minute neighbourhood framework. Crucially, this plan must reflect the lived experiences of those who live and work in Bo'ness. That's why we need to hear from you! What are your priorities as a community moving forward? How can we create a community that supports its residents? A community that offers a diverse range of services and meets people's daily needs?
Come along and share your ideas and enjoy some pizza made in our wood fired ovens before settling in to watch another fantastic film from the Take One Action, What the Cop? series. It's all set to be a thought provoking and inspiring evening so don't miss your chance to have your voice heard and represented. Look forward to seeing you there!
Together we create change.

Kinneil Estate Walled Garden is base for Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC, who grow and supply local Bo'ness food pantries with fresh fruit and veg. We'll be screening the film in their solar powered log cabins, but please dress for a cool night as we try to have some windows open in the space and it can get a bit chilly.
If you have any questions about accessing this event please get in touch with stephanie@forthenvironmentlink.org as we really would love as many folk to be able to attend as possible!
