With the government target of achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, the energy sector now has a massive opportunity to deliver innovative solutions and change our world for the better.
In this panel discussion, moderated by Neil Carden (Data IQ Top 100), we will explore how data and AI can be used to accelerate the energy transition. Our experts will examine how digital transformations are impacting the energy sector, the skills required to drive the change that’s needed and the learnings we can apply to truly use data and AI for good.
The panel will be a 40-minute discussion followed by a Q&A session. There will be a chance to have a drink and network after the panel.

Jaye is the Projects and Innovation Director at Peterson Energy Logistics, based in Aberdeen. She has a Masters in Business and 15 years of industry experience. Jaye has a strong track record in understanding, translating and answering multi-sector business needs through technology strategy development and programme delivery.
Catriona Gaston – Senior Data Consultant, Forth Point | A Blend360 Company
Catriona is an expert in data solutions for the energy sector and works with large energy clients on the daily. With a background in Chemical Engineering and Data Science, she is uniquely positioned to understand the challenges of the sector and what is needed to solve them. She was a core part of the Forth Point team that created the solutions that won “Most Innovative Use of AI” and the “Sustainability and Environmental Data Award’ at the 2022 DataIQ Awards.
