You're invited to the Investor Summit

December 1–3 · Duke Divinity School · Durham, NC

We're holding space for thirty to fifty people: investors, family office principals, endowment staff, and consultants and advisors who are positioned to move capital differently.

You'll have your own room for the full three days, banquet-style seating in the AMCR at Duke Divinity, built for small-group conversation. Sessions designed specifically for asset owners and allocators, with Felipe Witchger leading the facilitation and program design himself.

This year's theme: Reviving Courage

A working title, still evolving. The arc moves in three parts.

Down, into the lineage and grounding of Catholic sisters' history as pioneers of alternative economic institutions and active-ownership investing.

Up, into the inspiring vision of what becomes possible through collaboration.

In, to a moment of reacquainting with our inner purpose and why any of this matters.

In the same spirit as our flagship workshop's own commissioning ritual, we plan to build together something special during our shared time together. 

Pledges and commitments often come easily for participants. Follow-through is the harder discipline.

Courage is what closes that gap.

What you'll explore

• Governance — IPS changes, board task forces, MRI programs, the 12 steps of CST embodiment
• Theology & Frameworks — theology of investing, civil economy, ecumenical charisms, Magnifica Humanitas
• Asset Classes & Strategy — private credit, fixed income, municipal bonds; Emerging strategies: church real estate, housing, insurance, climate and energy
• Activating Capital — DAFs, capital formation, field-building for low- and moderate-income families
• Ecosystem, Narrative & Power — narrative strategy, AI, dioceses, SEC and policy

What three days here actually looks like

Dec 1 — Registration and lunch, then the opening session and first working groups. Dinner and table conversations that night.

Dec 2 — Morning Mass, table discussions, working groups built for this room specifically, and a session where a curated group of leading fund managers & emerging field building initiatives rotate through the tables directly. Dinner and an evening session in Durham.

Dec 3 — Morning prayer, final small groups, a closing weaving session, and then the commissioning. An optional immersion experience at The Industrial Commons follows, about 2.5 hours from Durham (Dec 3–4, limited spots, details to come).

Every plenary, morning prayer, and the closing commissioning happen in Goodson Chapel, alongside the Field Building track. Your table stays a small group the whole time, built for real conversation with people you'll actually get to know.

What's included

Three days of programming built around this track specifically, all meals, morning prayer and liturgy, and a seat at the closing commissioning. No add-on fees once you're registered, apart from the optional immersion.

Now in its third year

We held the first CST & Investing Summit in 2024 in Chicago at Loyola University, then in 2025 in Washington DC with Georgetown University. This year, Duke.

What it costs

Registration is $2,500 starting October 1. Register before September 30 and it's $2,000. Register before September 12 and it's $1,800, the lowest it will be.
