Jazz Trio - Tide

TIDE stands for constant motion, the ebb and flow, which never stand still. Just like the sea, our music is shaped by continuous change: we share a deep passion for unpredictability and a spirit of experimentation.

With a playful approach, we create a captivating and intimate evening of collective improvisation – a musical rise and fall that will never repeat itself in the same way. Each performance is like a new wave: unique, vibrant, and carried by the energy of the moment.

The trio was formed in London while drummer Finn Seeman, originally from Berlin, was studying there. During this time, Finn connected with guitarist Toby Evans (originally from Leeds) and tenor saxophonist Zac Taylor-Schindler who had already been working together extensively during their time together at the Royal Academy of Music.
