FREC 4 – Level 4 First Response Emergency Care

Following the face-to-face course, learners are also required to complete 3 assignment workbooks as part of the qualification.

Before starting the Qualsafe Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF), you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold a valid, in-date FREC 3 qualification or Qualsafe-recognised equivalent
• Provide a CPD profile evidencing 118 hours of study and/or contextualised practice

The 118 hours of CPD must be completed and evidenced before you start the FREC 4 course.

Relevant CPD may include work or operational experience, training, CPD sessions, online learning, webinars, reading and research, educational videos, relevant podcasts, practical or scenario training and mentored practice.

You will be required to:

1. Complete our FREC 4 booking form

2. Provide evidence of your valid FREC 3 qualification (or recognised equivalent).

3. Provide your CPD profile demonstrating the required 118 hours of study and/or contextualised practice, this can be ongoing but must be completed before day 1 of the course.

Following your booking we will provide a CPD guidance document and spreadsheet template to help you record your hours. You are also welcome to use your own existing CPD portfolio.
