About the Frederick Foundation:

Named in memory of Dr. Prince Frederick Esiri, an Oxford medical graduate from Nigeria, who dedicated his efforts to running a health clinic in Taraba State, Nigeria. The charity has been formed by his widow, Emeritus Professor Margaret Esiri and her much valued fellow Trustees of the charity, with additional support from her sons.

The Frederick Foundation is dedicated to improving stroke care and neuroscience disease management across Africa, and it's doing it in collaboration with Ibadan University Hospital in Nigeria. Our vision extends beyond borders as we're forging an intellectual bridge between the College of Medicine in Ibadan and the vibrant academic hub of Oxford, in the UK. Together, we're not just sharing knowledge but also igniting groundbreaking research on stroke and other neurodegenerative diseases.
