Santa’s Workshop at Friars Walk

Experience magical family fun this Christmas at Santa's Workshop in Friars Walk! 

Join us every weekend from 7-22 December for an unforgettable festive adventure.

Every weekend from 7-22 December, children will be invited to take part in a number of activities in Santa’s Workshop. Having been given their very own Elf hat, they will work out their own elf name, and then it’s off to work they go! 

Workshop activities will range from creating special reindeer food (to energise Santa’s sleigh team on Christmas Eve!), making a colourful sign for their bedroom door to make sure Santa stops to deliver their presents - and even creating special present bags! Along the way, children will be able to sort letters and parcels for Santa, putting parcels in the right boxes for delivery.

Having completed their tasks, children will then meet Santa and receive a gift.

The Santa’s Workshop experience will cost £4 per child* with all proceeds donated to St David’s Hospice. Accompanying adults are free, maximum of 2 adults per booking.

We know how much you like to bring all ages to visit Santa but appreciate some of our smaller family members might not be able to take part in the activities so for this reason we're introducing a visit Santa only ticket for children aged 2 or under. For £2* you'll get a visit to see Santa and a present. This can only be booked alongside a child ticket as part of your main booking. 

Babes-in-arms who are not taking part in Santa’s Workshop can of course be brought in along with their sibling for free, however they will not receive a gift; in order to manage numbers, please book your free ticket if bringing a baby.

Times: 11am – 5pm.  The last session for booking is half an hour before the event closes.

Location: Old Jeffries Jewellers Shop, 13-15 Friars Walk Shopping Centre

Remember, Santa is hugely popular at this time of year, so booking in advance is essential**.  Sessions last up to 30 minutes and are shared with no more than 5 other families. Each family will get their own time with Santa to allow for photos and one-to-one chats.

When booking your tickets, we will ask you two questions about your children. This is so that Santa can share the magic of Christmas and know in advance the things that 'only Santa would know'! This information is confidential and will only be shared with Santa and the Head Elf.

If you or your child require any special support or have any additional needs please do let us know when buying your tickets. We will do all we can to provide the assistance necessary to ensure your visit runs smoothly and ensure that you have an amazing visit with Santa. The event is entirely flat floor accessible and wheelchair friendly.

Please ensure you book enough tickets for you and your children to attend as we may not be able to accommodate any extra children on the day if they do not have a ticket. All children attending, regardless of age, require a ticket.

**Walk-in tickets may be available on the day to purchase but this cannot be guaranteed.
