Friends of Dorothea Day 🌈 - Free Celebratory Events!

Two years ago, on June 9th, Taylor sang a mash up of her songs "It's Nice To Have a Friend" and "Dorothea". This felt like an acknowledgement of the Friends of Dorothea community at the time and it feels fitting to celebrate this date every year, especially as it's a date that falls in Pride Month.

I'll be hosting two free events on the day, depending on how many people register. Please register in advance if you'd like your event to go ahead! And please let me know if you're not able to come anywhere so I have an accurate idea of number of attendees.

What will be involved:

• A Zoom room, with the option to have your camera on or off
• Watching a video of the mash up together
• Sharing stories of how each person became a Friend of Dorothea, what the community means to them and anything else that feels significant to share when celebrating your identity and our community!!
