The County of Passaic is a proud Historic Partner of America’s Tapestry, a once-in-a-generation fiber arts project commemorating the 250 of the United States of America. The Passaic County Arts Center is the first site in the State of New Jersey to host the 13 hand embroidered panels honoring the revolutionary history of the original colonies.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to get started with their own embroidery project featuring segments of the New Jersey tapestry. We will be taught by members of the Embroiders’ Guild of America’s Princeton Chapter. Participants will receive their own embroidery kit.
Attendance Capacity: 20 participants
Donations for the Embroiders' Guild of America's Princeton and Colonial West Jersey Chapters are appreciated.
