America’s Tapestry: Meet the Stitchers

Sat Nov 14, 2026 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Passaic County Arts Center at the John W. Rea House, 675 Goffle Rd, Hawthorne, NJ 07506

The County of Passaic is a proud Historic Partner of America’s Tapestry, a once-in-a-generation fiber arts project commemorating the 250 of the United States of America. The Passaic County Arts Center is the first site in the State of New Jersey to host the 13 hand embroidered panels honoring the revolutionary history of the original colonies.

This presentation will feature a behind the scenes look at how the New Jersey State panel was brought to life from the original illustration created by Diana Branzan to the beautifully embroidered panel on view today. The discussion will be led by the Colonial West Jersey Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, located in Burlington County.

Admission is free. Registration is preferred.
