FOTBOT Northern Ireland Branch Celebratory Launch Dinner
Share this event
Join the Friends of the British Overseas Territories’ Northern Ireland Branch Celebratory Launch Dinner, to be held at Crumlin Road Gaol.
We will hear from our keynote speaker and Parliamentary Advisor Baroness Arlene Foster, members of the Chagossian community and FOTBOT’s new Chief Executive Officer, James Lunn.
Crumlin Road Gaol is Northern Ireland’s only remaining Victorian Era prison, with over 150 years of history and having seen over 25,000 prisoners during the course of the Gaol’s existence.
FOTBOT is a charity seeking to promote, support and increase awareness of the UK’s Overseas Territories, and strengthen the UK’s historic links to them. Northern Ireland has a number of links to our Overseas Territories; whether it be Gibraltar twinned with Ballymena and its World War II history, or the Falkland Islands’ connection with Queen’s University.
