Chagos Islands 'Call to Action' Rally (Manchester)

As our Save the Chagos Islands campaign continues, we will be holding our third 'Call to Action' rally in Manchester - home of a large Chagossian community - to rally against the UK Government's deal to hand over the Chagos Islands to Mauritius.

The UK's horrific deal with Mauritius to hand over the sovereignty of the Chagos Islands must be challenged and defeated. Join Friends of the British Overseas Territories for our third Chagos Islands: Call to Action event in Manchester. This event is designed to unite voices from all across the UK who believe in defending Britain's sovereignty over the Chagos Islands; a strategic and historically British territory, and protecting our Overseas Territories. Manchester features the second largest Chagossian community in the UK.

The event will feature Chagossians from various groups who will share their experiences and perspective on the impact of this deal. The event will also feature VIP guest appearances from influential figures in the UK Parliament and other key public figures who are committed to protecting the Chagos Islands from this disastrous handover.

Our third 'Call to Action' will represent another pivotal moment in bringing together all those who support the UK's rightful sovereignty over this important territory. It is a chance to make your voice heard, to stand in solidarity with the Chagossian community, and to advocate for the continued British administration of the islands. Chagossian voices must be heard, and FOTBOT will ensure that they are.
