Peter Krasinski has premiered the art of live improvised silent film accompaniment worldwide. He received the First Prize in improvisation from the American Guild of Organists National Competition. Organ historian Barbara Owen, author of many definitive books about the pipe organ and the biography of influential organist E. Power Biggs, wrote of Mr. Krasinski: "He takes us in. We are no longer sitting in pews in a warm church on a dark night watching tinted images flicker across a screen...." This will be the fourth in Mr. Krasinski's popular "Silents are Golden" presentations at the Stone Church Cultural Center.
