Description
Reflective practice
Thursday 26th September, 6.30pm-8pm, Frome Town Hall
What other people say and do affects us constantly, whether they are family, friends, neighbours or colleagues. These relationships can be wonderful. They can also be difficult, confusing, stressful and tiring.
Let’s Talk can help. Everyone in this Frome community group has had some simple training in Restorative Conversations and learned some skills which have made a big difference. These monthly open sessions are an opportunity for people to practice some of those skills together in a safe setting. If you’re not familiar with it already it will be helpful to look at the toolkit before you come along.
This month's session will focus on Reflective practice. Reflective Practice helps us explore how and why we may respond to certain situations in a way that can leave us feeling ‘not quite right’. In this 90 minute session we will think about the term Reflective Practice and what that means for each of us. We will also think about times when we wanted to do something or say something in a different way. We will consider some personal hints and tips we can use in our day to day lives to foster a more reflective approach.
