Description
Let’s Talk is a local community group that could make a big difference in your life. They hold safe and welcoming bi-weekly open practice sessions to help you have tricky discussions with ease.
These sessions, held every other Thursday, are a chance to learn simple skills in Restorative Conversations and are centred on different themes from active listening to reflective practice.
Everyone is welcome to come along to any or all of the sessions, please just book a free spot so group know you plan to join them.

9th January: How was Christmas for you?
Interactions and emotions can sometimes be a challenge during the Christmas period. This is a chance to reflect on what went well and what you might have wanted to be different. We will explore a few simple hints and tips on how to look after yourself during tricky times.
23rd January: Active listening and empathy
Active listening helps build trust and understanding in relationships. In this session we will be developing our listening skills through practice and discussion.
13th February: Drama Triangles
Would you like to be able to say No when someone pressures you to do something without feeling guilty? Come and learn the tools which will move you out of the Drama Triangle and enable you to act from the Empowered Triangle.
27th February: Social Relationship Window
The Social Relationship Window (or Social Discipline Window) helps to consider the ways to balance control and support in their interactions with others. Learn about this framework to reflect on unhealthy dynamics and how to move towards more empowering and mutually beneficial relationships.
13th March: Challenging without blaming
How can you challenge someone’s behaviour without making them feel in the wrong? A vital skill when asking someone to make a change as it allows people to hear the impact of their behaviour.
27th March: Asking questions and reflective skills
Have better conversations by learning how to ask better questions. This will give you the skills to understand more deeply and learn how to reframe and find a new way forward.
