Community woodland walk out
Community woodland walk out
While these walks are now sold out, you are welcome to make your own way to the community woodland this afternoon (route below) and see the shire horses in action. James from Wessex Working Horses will give a talk at around 2pm and again at 3:30pm if you're interested in hearing about the work that they do.
Join us as we begin shaping Frome's new community woodland, created in memory of Frome resident Moko Sellars on a long neglected piece of land bordered by the River Frome.
Come and see traditional working horses in action. As James Foster of Wessex Working Horses helps us prepare the land in a low impact, sustainable way and experience heritage skills up close.
There are two walk time slots: 1:30pm and 3pm. Please select your preferred time slot. Walks begin at the Cheese & Grain, following the footpath along the River Frome to the community woodland. We will stay at for half an hour, then head back along the same route.
If you would like to meet us there rather than join the walk, please refer to the OS map attached. The meeting point will be at What3words: ///lately.loose.clear
