Whether it was by helping someone with their shopping or standing on the doorstep clapping for key workers, many of us have seen more of our neighbours in the past year and formed new connections. Strong neighbourhoods can come together to make their streets a nicer place - and it's great to know that help is only ever a few doors away.
But what do you do when tensions are brewing on your street? A small neighbourly dispute can have a big impact on the community, but fortunately there are positive and practical ways to approach this.
This 2 hour training from the Neighbourhood Network and Frome Town Council will be led by experts in restorative conversations. The training is free and open to anyone interested in helping their neighbourhood flourish. Gain confidence approaching difficult issues and facilitating calm, productive conversations.
The training will take place online on Monday 18th January, there’s daytime session from 10am-12pm or an evening session from 7-9pm, so you can choose the time to suit you. Spaces are limited so please book to secure your place.
