Frome Town Council are looking to introduce Green Breather Days where the centre of Frome will be pedestrianised once a month to help cut air pollution in the town centre.

Proposed over a series of five Saturdays, one a month between May and September 2022, these days aim to encourage people to come in and stay longer in the town centre to enjoy the pedestrianised space and surrounding businesses. The road closures are proposed to take place between 10am – 4pm with the Market Place and Bath Street closed between Justice Lane and Cork Street.

We are keen to hear how this might affect businesses operating in the town centre in order to ensure that Businesses are disrupted to a minimum and would like to invite you to a meeting to discuss the Green Breather Days. We will be running the meeting as a hybrid meeting to offer the opportunity of attending in person and via Zoom.
