Plan your Summer street party

With street party season just around the corner, they’re a great way to connect with your neighbours and inject a bit of fun into your street.

If you’re planning one for the first time it can feel a bit daunting to get started, but it needn’t be. Frome Town Council is hosting this free session on Tuesday 18^th April at Frome Town Hall from 7pm – 8pm. The session is an ideal opportunity to get some advice and discover resources available, plus hear from people who have had first-hand experience of running events like this.

We’ll cover road closures, event management plans, activity ideas, available resources and how to get everyone involved. There’ll also be time for some Q&A’s so make sure you bring all your questions.

If you’re not able to make the session the Frome Town Council website has a host of good advice: http://bit.ly/organisingacommunityevent

Plus, a whole load of community resources that you can borrow for free: http://bit.ly/FTCcommunityresources
