From The Ground Studio - 2026 Creative Workshops and Private View

An open collective of young artists creating as a means for active hope, curating exhibitions and workshops to build community and spotlight emerging artists.

As part of our third public exhibition, for art wave 2026 at the marine workshops we will be hosting a series of free creative workshops and a free Private View event, these events are part of our vision for art as a tool for building community and inspiring action. All events are open for anyone of any age or ability. 

Workshops have limited places so please book tickets in advance, drop in places are not guaranteed. IMPORTANT, ONLY BOOK A TICKET IF YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND, to avoid leaving empty places in workshops. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Workshops will be held in the exhibition space (Atrium Gallery, Marine Workshops Newhaven) , the first gallery space on the left when you enter the building. They will run for approximately 1.5 hours each.

Private View: 17th September 5pm-8pm, 

FREE ENTRY / OPEN TO ALL, Our private view, is in fact not private. On the 17th of September we will host a late opening of our exhibition, open to all. The lineup includes: free food and drinks from our wonderful sponsors, live music from Dylan Gates, live poetry and spoken word from our artists, a talk from us and some fantastic conversations and connections.
