The BIG Sing Show Live at Haverhill Theatre

How fantastic that we have been booked for this theatre show.

REGISTER INTEREST: Please read the following very carefully!

The sign up process is going to be different to standard performances so please read the following information very carefully and register your interest if you are able and eligible to come.

What is the event? This is our own live show at Haverhill Arts Centre - just us!  Soooo exciting!

What are the logistics? We will be travelling by coach . Coach/performance fee £30 pp.

What are we singing? Set list will be confirmed nearer the time.

Who is eligible?   To be eligible to register your interest, please make sure you meet the following criteria:

• You are a regular member of a BIG Sing Community Choir .
• You are available for the afternoon/evening on  Saturday 13th June to travel by coach to and from the venue and perform.
• You are actively attending rehearsals and understand that this is a GOLD event, meaning 3 out of the 4 rehearsals prior to the event should be attended.

Please register you interest BEFORE or by 13th May 2026

What are the next steps? There are only 50 spaces for this event, meaning spaces are limited. We will delegate spaces fairly based on Alto, Tenor, Soprano sections, location and rate of attendance. If you don't get a space straight away, don't panic because we will automatically add you to the waiting list! Please select your voice part to register your interest.

DETAILS:

LOCATION: Haverhill Arts Centre, High Street, Haverhill, Suffolk CB9 8AR

AUDIENCE TICKETS: available online here.

COACH: We will all travel together by coach.  Please indicate your preferred boarding point.   Coach will pick up at 3pm from Rayleigh Grange SS6 9EH and 3.20 pm from Sandon CM2 7RU to Haverhill.  We will depart the theatre for the return journey by 10 pm.

UNIFORM - GOLD EVENT: Smart white tops or jackets, smart black bottoms, smart black shoes

TIMINGS: Sound check TBC

The soundcheck is a really important time to get the sound levels right. Expect to hear feedback, loud noises as the engineers get the levels right. Also it takes time to get the levels in the monitors right so you can hear the music. Please just be patient, it is a process and we will need you to be quiet and only sing when directed so we can get the best sound for our performance. No talking at all on stage please. If there are any problems on the day only talk to our tutors and they will sort them out.

WATER: you may take a plastic bottle of water (with a lid) to the performance area (no hot drinks or metal water containers please)

SHOW TIME: 7.30 - 9.30 pm

FOOD/REFRESHMENTS: Please bring whatever food you need for the day with you.  

Most of all please help one another, guide each other, be considerate and be kind to each other - we are family!
