Come and join The BIG Sing – your local community choir in Romford on Thursday evenings from 7.30-9pm at CMOP, 91 Clockhouse Lane, Romford, RM5 3QP.

Our community choir rehearsals are what we like to call: “The best night of the week!”. Learn our unique arrangements and harmonies to uplifting, well-known songs with one of our expert tutors. Make new connections and embrace the power of singing together every week. Rehearsals allow us to prepare for upcoming performances and exciting special events. We raise the roof every night and guarantee that you will leave with a smile on your face!

The BIG Sing choirs are open to EVERYONE but you may relate to one of these…

No auditions and the first session is FREE but please pre-book so we know you are coming.

MEET YOUR TUTOR - Jessica Cherag-Zade

Jessica is an experienced teacher, vocalist, and trainee music therapist with a passion for community engagement and empowering people through music. Her expertise includes directing choirs of up to 400 people, hosting staff-team building groups and leading sessions for those with emotional, social, and physical challenges within the NHS. As a vocalist, with a love for Soul, Blues and Jazz, she has performed widely with live function bands across the UK and singing contracts in Turkey and Greece. More recently she spent a summer in Jools Holland’s club on the spirit of discovery ship. Other highlights include performances at Pizza Express Jazz Club, St Davids Hall and Cardiff Millenium Stadium. With a vocal teaching studio, Jess has been teaching vocal technique for 7+ years and loves helping people find their voices! Dedicated to using music as a tool for empowerment, confidence, self expression and JOY!

PAY IT FORWARD? Would you like to purchase a ticket anonymously for someone to come to choir who can't afford it? We have added a new ticket option - a 'pay it forward' ticket. Purchasing one of these will enable someone to come to choir who otherwise would not afford it. If you do buy one, THANK YOU!

• We sing a mixed repertoire of appealing music from pop, soul, gospel, RnB, Motown as well as original songs of our own and all are inspirational songs that will help you feel uplifted and energised.
  
• We provide the lyrics digitally for you to download and we do not use sheet music. Whether you think you can sing or not, if you love music, and have a passion to sing, simply bring your smile, enthusiasm and let’s have some fun! No experience needed – just give singing a try.
• Please invite your friends, neighbours and colleagues to join us, remember the first session is FREE so you’ve got nothing to lose by coming along for a try out!
• Once you join us after your free trial, we will email you with more details about how to access our website, how to download lyrics and tracks, payment options, how to keep up to date with any social news, performance opportunities and all the latest info!
