On the Frontier: Robotics in Development
Join us for a 60-minute online exploration of Robotics in Development.
In recent months, the Frontier Tech Hub has been exploring how robotics might be used to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in low and middle-income countries. Together with global experts in both robotics and development, we’ve been asking hard questions about how robotics, supported by rapid advancements in AI, may help (or hinder) development challenges in Agriculture, Climate Adaptation, and Waste Management. This is your opportunity to:
- Hear more about what we’ve learnt throughout this process
- Engage and interact with peers working across frontier technologies and development
- Inform the possible next steps for FCDO in shaping the future role of Robotics for Development
There's no requirement to be a Robotics expert to join this event. For example, you might work at FCDO and have a growing interest in the role of AI across the development sector, be an innovator or entrepreneur developing different frontier-technology solutions, or have a role in government, research, or policy focused on climate. You're all welcome.
This event is part of the Frontier Tech Hub’s On the Frontier series, where we take one global critical challenge and explore what’s at the cutting edge of each, together.
