JOE FERNANDEZ:
Joe Fernandez is a half-Cuban half-Irish (or Cubish) comedian and actor. Described as dark, cerebral, sardonic, and flat out bizarre, Joe combines low brow, offcolor humor with high brow references to satirize serious subjects. His smile and playful personality belie the seedy underbelly that is his morbid sense of humor, getting audiences to laugh before being mad at themselves for laughing but then continuing to laugh because what Joe’s saying is very very funny. Joe has been featured on Cracked Comedy Club, TBS Just For Laughs, The Gathering of the Juggalos (yes really and he fit in surprisingly well) and Tubi where his debut comedy special Ugly is currently streaming. His second special Demented | Live at the Chicago Laugh Factory is currently on YouTube and is the only special to date ever taped at the Chicago Laugh Factory. Has he also beaten Hannibal Burress in NBA Jam and improvised yelling at “Lake Placid” star Oliver Platt during an episode of Chicago Med? Yes he has. And they’re the credits he’s most proud of.
