Top Grafting: Learn How to Grow Multiple Fruit Varieties on One Tree

This workshop will teach you the theory and practice of top grafting for you to apply elsewhere.
Top grafting is a method of grafting cuttings (scions) onto a compatible tree that is already growing.
This is useful if the tree is not producing fruit you want, or if you want to add more fruit varieties to your tree. For example grafting fruiting cherry onto a flowering cherry, or pear on to hawthorn, or some tasty apple varieties instead of apples you don’t like!
We will discuss the theory of top grafting and demonstrate the process. You will have the opportunity to practise some cuts.
