This course is free thanks to The Wildlife Trusts Green Community Grant and players of People's Postcode Lottery.
Apple and pear trees should be pruned in winter to maintain a healthy shape and size and to ensure they will fruit plentifully for future decades.
Gini from Fruit Works Co-operative will teach you the theory and practice of winter fruit tree pruning, and together we will help to maintain the fruit trees at Bramley Baths. This event is in collaboration with Incredible Edible Bramley.

Please walk, cycle, take public transport or carpool to the venue if you can.
What to bring
If you have them, please bring along a sharp pair of secateurs, loppers, a pruning saw and a pair of rubber grip gardening gloves. Tools and gloves will be provided if you don’t have your own.
Remember to wear clothes and footwear appropriate for the weather, mud, and uneven ground!

Hot drinks
Tools and gloves for anyone who doesn’t have their own.
Participants will each receive a copy of Chloe Ward's excellent pruning guide "for real people with imperfect trees".
Donations
This is a free event, but you are welcome to make a donation to support the work of Fruit Works Co-operative and Incredible Edible Bramley. Any donations will be split equally between the two organisations.
Refunds/Cancellation
If you can't make it anymore please let us know as soon as you can so that your ticket can be made available to someone else. We can refund you if you notify us up to 3 working days before the event.
