FuckUp Nights Bristol #12 - March 2026

Most people fuck up at some point...and generally people live to tell the tale.

Fuckup Nights is a global movement and event series that shares stories of professional failure. The event has been running in Bristol since April 2023.

Events across the globe get 3 or 4 people to get up in front of a room full of strangers to share their own professional fuckup/mistake. The stories of the business that crashes and burns, the partnership that goes sour, the product that has to be recalled, stories like these will all be told.

At this event we will have three fabulous speakers who are going to share their mistakes.  No happy ending for any of these three stories!

• Nicky Marshall - 12 weeks into a new business a fuckup not of her own making happened, but come and find out what led to that and how she dealt with it.
  
• Ash Phillips - a Q&A with Ash on how COVID impacted his business and how he was impacted by burnout and the realisation that sometimes there are 'no rules' when it comes to business.
• Vicky Denning - Vicky built her dream business into a six-figure clinic until it unravelled, forcing her to face failure and begin again.

Nicky is a wellbeing specialist, so when she opened her 'dream' business she was elated. Little did she know that 12 weeks later her 'nightmare' would begin, on an island in the Bristol channel.

Ash started a community for young entrepreneurs and then realised he did not fit in the demographic. Come and hear about what he did next, how the pandemic changed things for him and what he learned from burnout.

There is step free access throughout the venue’s indoor areas via ramps and a lift, however unfortunately the terrace and garden can only be accessed via steps and there may not be an accessible toilet available on the evening. Please do let us know in advance if you will need ramps.
