The Big Battle 2: The Revenge

Let Battle Commence Again!

Join us, teams 'Fuelled by Cake' & 'Llandrindod Community Events', as we join forces to bring you The Big Battle of 2025!

All you need is you and your team of up to 6 Heroes or Villains!  

The What

• The Big Battle is a series of 8 challenges for you and your team to take on, at timed intervals throughout the day. 
• Some challenges will be for the whole team to take part in together, others will be for you to nominate a member/s for!
• From making & flying a paper aeroplane to traversing an assault course, and everything in between, there really is something for everyone in your whole team! 
• Your team will receive points at each of the challenge stations, based on how well you do!  Your points will build up throughout the day on the overall score board, culminating in a final showdown 'Boat Race' to finish! 
  
• The challenge is open to everybody, from age 4 to 104, and whether you have 2 or 6 members in your team. 
• Whether you're a family, a team of friends, work mates, a social group or club - we want to see you all do battle out on the playing field! 
• At just £5 per team (+ booking fee), we hope you'll agree it's a value-for-money day out that everyone can enjoy.
• Arrive at Lakeside Boathouse at 10am on the day, to check your team in and collect your personal team timetable for the day!  This will tell you where and at what time you need to be throughout the day.
• We'll finish up at around 4pm (ish!) by crowning the victorious team of the day!
• Please note:  Payment for your team entry is via bank transfer to our community group bank account (details given during your checkout).  If this isn't a suitable way for you to pay, don't hesitate to get in touch by email at cakefuelled@gmail.com or through our page on Facebook messenger, and we will arrange payment another way for you.

A Heroes or Villains Dress Code

The theme for all teams is 'Heroes vs Villains' - it's for you to choose your team name, your team's take on the theme and your fancy dress outfits to match - and it's for us to choose the best dressed team on the day for a special prize!

Lunch - The Big Lunch

Every Big Battle needs a mighty Big Lunch to fuel their teamies!  

In the middle of the day, we will be breaking to have a Big Lunch together on the Lake Common.  So bring yourself a picnic or packed lunch, or buy a burger from the stall we'll have available, to enjoy with a field of heroes and villains.

'The Big Lunch' is an annual community celebration taking place every June, where neighbours, friends, groups, team mates, and indeed everyone get together to share food, fun and friendship across the whole of the UK!
