Celebrate the 30th anniversary year of one of the most beloved and enduring scenes in television history with Emmy Award–winning writer and former The Simpsons showrunner Bill Oakley.

Join us at Fullsteam Theater for a one-night-only live event as Bill Oakley, writer of the iconic “Steamed Hams” scene, presents the first live show devoted entirely to one of television’s most famous comedy sketches. Over 60 minutes, Bill reveals how the scene was created, the unexpected inspirations behind it, and how a four-and-a-half-minute segment from a 1996 episode became one of the internet’s most enduring and widely shared comedy memes.

Featuring behind-the-scenes stories, rare video clips, never-before-heard details from the writing of the scene, and audience interaction, this is a unique opportunity to hear the complete story of “Steamed Hams” directly from the writer who created it.
