A STEVIE WONDER-FULL CELEBRATION WITH AS MANY STEVIE WONDER RECORDS AS WE CAN FIT IN!

We all loves a bit of Stevie and his huge collection of funky soul gems, so we thought we'd dedicate a whole Funked Up! to celebrate him and his wonderful music. A few of us were lucky enough to catch him in Cardiff recently and he reminded us of his vast library of classics and his very special energy. He had a message for us that night and he led us through a prayer for world peace right at the start of the gig. And then he kicked into his first song ”Love’s in need of love today.” His positive vibes were as massive and as warm as the crowd that had gathered. So many of his songs mean so much to all of us. If you only know a bit about the Wonder of Stevie…or nothing at all…or maybe you’re as obsessed with him as we are…come and dance with us to his joyous records all night long!

Funked Up! usually sells out so don’t sleep on getting those tickets aaaaand…for the last few we’ve been skanking it up with a good few last songs of the night, so try and stay for the heavy rinse out at 1am! It was a classy Yacht Rock singalong ending at the last Funked Up! before we all skanked together with two reggae bangers!
