Funny Firm Presents Comedy at the Chester Tavern

FUNNY FIRM LIVE COMEDY AT THE CHESTER TAVERN!

WEDNESDAY 4TH NOVEMBER 2026

We’re back at The Chester Tavern in Kidderminster with another fantastic line-up of live stand-up comedy!

Three very different comedians, each bringing their own style of humour, plus our resident compere OKSE keeping everything moving.

HEADLINER: PAUL RICKETTS

An experienced and wonderfully unpredictable comedian who has performed at some of the UK’s best-known comedy clubs, including The Comedy Store, The Glee Club and The Stand.

Paul’s comedy is a brilliant mixture of surreal observations, sharp satire, storytelling and outright silliness. He’s also taken several solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, earning a reputation for his distinctive approach to stand-up.

Expect the unexpected from a comedian who isn’t afraid to take audiences somewhere a little different.

“Weird and wonderful… should be given his own TV show.”

DANNY CLIVES

Dudley’s very own Danny Clives is making a name for himself with his laid-back delivery, clever observations and perfectly timed punchlines.

Danny has supported the likes of Joe Lycett, Guz Khan and James Acaster, performed at Chicago’s famous Second City Theatre and appeared in the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe.

His relaxed, conversational style makes his punchlines all the more effective. A local comedian with plenty of experience and a growing reputation.

“Hilarious and from Dudley!”
Lenny Henry

JACKIE KAIN

Jackie Kain brings confident delivery, sharp writing and a steady stream of well-crafted jokes to the stage.

Her performances have been praised for their natural flow, strong punchlines and ability to keep audiences laughing throughout.

With a distinctive personality and an assured stage presence, Jackie is another act we’re looking forward to welcoming to The Chester Tavern.

“Rock Solid.”
