WEBINAR - HOW TO HAVE FUN AT WORK
Thu 18 Apr 2024 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM BST
Online, Zoom
Description
From releasing endorphins and relieving stress responses to soothing muscle tension, laughter is powerful, especially in the workplace. Our webinar will show you how a good dose of humour will improve your mental health and wellbeing and boost your confidence to take on a leadership role, apply for that job you’ve always wanted or get involved with a local community project.
This webinar is hosted by Lynne Parker, the founder of Funny Women, who has worked with thousands of women through the annual Funny Women Awards and runs workshops for organisations and companies including NatWest, Canada Life, Airbandb, JPMorgan, and MHS. Funny Women’s HERlarious programme aimed at the workplace empowers women to do business with humour.
We spend so much time ‘at work’ but as recent times have shown us, the shift to hybrid working, split between office and screen, can literally mess with our minds! We have less time to spend on ‘water cooler’ moments and our personal interactions with our colleagues are more limited.
How do we combat FOMO and Imposter Syndrome?
What is stopping you take that next step in life?
Fun and laughter within your communities breaks down barriers and builds confidence so find out how to get your comedy mojo on.
In this webinar we will discuss the benefits of laughter, humour and happiness in the workplace as well as practical ways to create a more fun working environment. With some interactive exercises for you to explore and a Q&A.
This webinar is free to attend thanks to funding from Medway Council and the UK Government Levelling Up initiative as part of Funny Women’s Comedy in the Community programme.
We are requesting that you make a donation to our chosen charity - The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice.
