Fun Palaces: Get ready for the Weekend!
* Get Ready for the Fun Palaces Weekend of Celebration*
Join us on Zoom for our pre-Weekend kick-off party for ALL Makers!
We are having a special online get-together just before Fun Palaces Weekend starts – it's a chance for you to connect with Makers from across the country, swap last-minute tips and start the celebrations early. We’ll also cover a few practical bits... how to share your photos, videos and stories with us so we can spotlight you, key social media info and what to expect on the weekend – but mostly, this is about coming together as the brilliant Fun Palaces community for 2025! It’s your chance to settle any last-minute nerves, ask those lingering questions and head into the weekend feeling confident and ready for fun with your community... 🤩🎉
It doesn’t matter if your Fun Palace is in a huge venue, your local cafe or your living room... every single one is important, and you’re warmly welcome to this meet up to connect and celebrate together.
New for this year: we will be creating our annual Fun Palaces video featuring Fun Palaces across the country, and we’d love to feature you. Send us your best photos, short videos or quick interviews from your team or guests at your Fun Palace, and if your content is used, we’ll send you £25 as a thank-you. (We'll cover the best way to take part in this on the call.)
On the Weekend kick-off party, we'll cover:
- Simple ways to boost your Fun Palace’s visibility and reach
- How to make your photos and videos shine for maximum impact
- A space to ask anything before the big day
- A big dose of excitement and encouragement from our team (and each other!)
Whether this is your first Fun Palace or your twelfth, this meet-up is your moment to feel part of something bigger before we all fling open our doors, kitchens, libraries, community centres, gardens and streets to share culture and connection across the country 🤗
Let’s start the Weekend magic early – see you there!
