Fun Palaces Launch 2026
We would love to invite you to join us in launching Fun Palaces 2026!
Fun Palaces are about taking some time out for an hour, a day, a weekend to dream something better, collectively, for the places we live in. And to put that dreaming into action, to make change. In 2026 this feels as important as it ever has.
The launch is an opportunity for us all to come together, and stay connected to a movement of thousands of people who believe that culture belongs to everyone and everyone has value. Being present, being together, sharing space and celebrating ourselves and each other.
You’ll get to see the first screening of our 2025 Fun Palaces video, hear from Fun Palaces Makers and get the latest updates from the Fun Palaces Support Hub Team on everything that’s happening this year. There will be coffee and pastries, a chance to get stuck into some hands on activities and celebrate as we kickstart the countdown to the thirteenth Fun Palaces weekend, 2nd - 4th October 2026.
“I think…the beauty of the Fun Palaces is that you can capture a, a really diverse group of people who come together for a certain period of time while it’s running and they all forget their prejudices for that time that they’re involved, whether they come back when they leave the site, but for that period of time they’re sharing in the activities that are going on” - Fun Palaces Maker
