Pathways Forum #14 - When Western meets Indigenous in Sustainability Science, from theory to practice - Part 2

Mon 17 Jun 2024 16:00 - 18:00 CEST Online, Zoom

Registrations are now open for Part 2 of our Decolonizing Sustainability Science series, co-organized with the Ocean Knowledge Network and the Taipei Hub of Future Earth.

Part 2 aims to provide space for an open discussion where Indigenous scholars can share their stories and the challenges they are confronted with when working within Western institutions. Non-Indigenous scholars can gain a deeper understanding of how to create more equal and reciprocal academic environments. This raises questions about the role and positionality of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers in the decolonization process.

It was not necessary to attend Part 1 of this webinar series to be able to participate and listen to Part 2.
