Welcome to our hybrid business breakfast event on "Biodiversity and Business: The Risks and Opportunities" kindly sponsored by Map Impact and Michelmores.

In today's landscape, supporting biodiversity is not just an ethical imperative but also a strategic business consideration. Join us as we delve into the crucial intersection of biodiversity management and business operations, exploring the risks and opportunities it presents.

It is essential for businesses to take proactive steps now to understand their biodiversity risks and opportunities, fostering internal accountability and transparency through disclosure of their actions.

Capital allocation is shifting towards businesses that prioritise environmental sustainability. This event will highlight how financial institutions are diverting capital away from enterprises that deplete natural resources towards those that promote biodiversity-positive practices.

Furthermore, with biodiversity net gain legislation mandating developers to deliver a net gain of 10%, businesses must adapt and innovate to ensure their developments contribute positively to biodiversity.

Join us for an insightful morning of discussions, insights, and actionable strategies with Map ImpactMichelmores and AtkinsRéalis.

This event is free to Future Leap members and coworkers, and open to everyone. Attendance includes sustainably sourced breakfast and refreshments (unless you are a virtual attendee, in which case please BYO-Breakfast!)
