We're thrilled to welcome Future of Diversity guest chefs Osiel Gastelum and Reynaldo Gastelum of Maarem. Maarem is a fine dining modern Mexican restaurant focusing on coastal Mexican cuisine. They give special emphasis to the great seafood of the PNW and all the bounties from the region, with a great commitment to working with what’s available seasonally and using sustainable sources.
Maarem joins forces with Mocel Mezcal, a sister-owned small-batch mezcal brand rooted in the traditions of Michoacán. Founders Rosalinda and Elizabeth, were raised in rural Washington as the daughters of Mexican farmworker immigrants. They honor their mezcalero heritage by crafting mezcal the way it’s been done for centuries—family-focused, earth-conscious, and community-driven.
Join us for a rich, multi-sensory evening featuring a five-course menu from Maarem, thoughtfully paired with small-batch mezcal from Mocel. Enjoy guided mezcal tastings and stories behind the traditions, land, and labor that shape these offerings. View the menu below and reserve your seat today!
