From sprouted and fermented to savory and sweet, each dish is a delicious lesson in how this humble pantry staple shapes Indian cuisine. The founders of All Dal-ed Up, Shri Repp and Vanitha Sabapathy, are a Seattle-based mother-daughter duo sharing the joy and everyday magic of Indian cooking through stories, tradition, and tested recipes. Crunchy Chana Vada w/ Coconut Chutney (vv) (df) (gf) Crunchy fritter made with chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves, onions, and warm Indian spices accompanied with a cilantro coconut chutney.

Sprouted Moong Bhel Salad
(vv) (df) (gf) Sprouted moong dal, cucumber, tomato, red onion tossed with cilantro-mint and tamarind-date chutneys, puffed rice, toasted peanuts, and sev (fried chickpea flour snack) .

Idli and Thakkali Kolumbu
(v) (gf) Fermented and steamed rice and lentil cakes served with a tangy south indian style tangy tomato gravy

Arisi Paruppu Sadam, Mango Pickle, Raita, and Urad Dal Fryums
(gf) (v) Indian Butter bean dal and rice pilaf cooked together in warming spices served along with spicy mango pickle, yogurt raita, and crunchy urad dal fryums.

Warm Apple Moong Dal Halwa w/ Pistachio Phyllo Cigars
